Stephanie Hawkins: Biography

Manager, ANKAAA

Stephanie Hawkins is currently the Manager of Association of Northern, Kimberley and Arnhem Aboriginal Artists (ANKAAA), prior to taking on the role of manager in May 2003 she was the Industry Development Officer with ANKAAA from July 2001. Hawkins previously managed Munupi Arts and Crafts at Garden Point on Melville Island from 1999 to 2001. She has tertiary qualifications in Art History, Aboriginal Prehistory and Cultural Heritage Management and worked at the National Gallery of Australia before heading north to work with Indigenous artists and art centres.
